On July 2nd and 3rd a delegation of lecturers from across the university of Caen visited Portsmouth to further cement and to expand the links already established between the University of Caen and the University of Portsmouth.
They had meetings across many faculties at the University ncluding the newest building, the Future Technology Centre, which aims to bring together the University's expertise from within academia and industry. At the event there The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth joined them for a visit and a chat.
On the Tuesday I took them to meet the Deputy Lord Mayor in the Lord Mayor's office in Portsmouth's Iconic Guildhall.

I am sure that in the forthcoming academic year there will be more developments in the partnerships between our two universities.
