Caen and Portsmouth working together to bid as hosts for the Tour de France.

The Portsmouth News website reported today about Portsmouth City Council and the Mayor of Caen working together to put in a bid to host the Tour de France in 2019, which will be the 75th anniversary of D-Day. This would an excellent boost to both cities and let's hope it is a successful bid.
